Yes, with other guys, one of whom had a gun. It was a break and entry. Even if only one guy had a gun, anyone a part of the break in is considered armed and could face serious mandatory prison time.

Hey wait just a minute here! What happened to showing love, compassion and forgiveness and the need to pray for the likes of the rich and famous who constantly screw up, and not being judgemental? I guess there is such a thing as selective condemnation! I guess pretty girls can do no wrong in the eyes of some who have a predisposition to shapes and figures! Uh....yoo hoo........H E L L O .......do the names Paris Hilton and Brittany Spears ring a bell? They were the subject of a recent thread. Is the way they live their lives any more worthy of love, compassion and prayer than O.J. Simpson?

Actions prove the manner of a man and OJ consistently proves what type of "man" he is. You may recall that Oprah had the ADA on her show a while back and she said to him, ...as a black woman I can understand how the jury reacted, kind of like backlash for all the wrong treatment of black men b white society..... Chris Darden responded by saying that he COULDN'T understand how a jury could have made this about social justice even though he is a black man. Oprah was a bit taken aback but then continued with her interview. This is one of the reasons that I stopped watching Oprah's show because she has finally shown her true values and believes it is ok to do wrong if it somehow balances things out in your mind. Simpson is a sociopath and the Goldmans are money hungry. If, and I mean IF, they started a fund for battered women with the money I would not feel as I do but not a word has been said about giving the money to a charity. This money won't bring Ron back and it won't bring Nicole back but providing shelter to battered women in their names would be a wonderful testimony of love/charity. God help Nicole and OJ's two children. They have a monster for a father and they have to know he mudered their mother. How do they respond to him?  ? |

How about all the lives of their young groupies who will grow up to be just like their earthly hero's? Their lives will be ruined because of the bad example and poor role models that recalcitrant parents allowed their daughters to follow and look up to. So O.J. killed two people, ruined their lives and the lives of their famiies. The likes of Paris Hilton and Brittany Spears and Madonna, etc. etc. ruin the lives of countless young ladies. A ruined life is a ruined life. A sin is a sin in the eyes of God. He makes no distinction! All these beauties chose a life of sin, void of morals, values and Godly standards for the sake of fame and fortune and take down as many as they can with them by their example. Any young lady who exploits or uses her charms, her beauty or form to get ahead is running a spiritual deficit. That goes for the ones who make money off of them as well. Such as these have sold their soul to the devil. Indeed.....Sodom & Gomorrah revsited.

Would that kind of killing be any different than O.J.'s killing? Does it have to happen first before you feel the same about the girls as you do O.J.?
I feel that way about them now because they wilfully and wantonly get behind the wheel under the influence and take innocent lives in their hands knowing what could happen as a result of their actions. They make this conscious choice and decision to do this time and time again.
O.J. already did it and it's just a matter of time before they do too.

Remember that old movie with Pat O'Brien and James Cagney? Cagney was a hoodlum convicted of murder. A real tough guy and all the neighborhood kids looked up to him. Just before being executed, Pat O'Brien convinced Cagney not to go to his death as a hero in the eyes of the kids and to fold up crying like a coward so the kids will learn a lesson. So as Cagney was being walked to the electric chair, he started to cry and yell like a coward saying."I don't want to die" "I don't want to die." When this came out in the newspapers, the kids all saw that he wasn't such a tough guy at all.
It's the same today with all these movie stars and sports hero's we constantly read about in the paper who break the law and do all sorts of things we wouldn't want our own kids doing. They need to be brought down to their knees in shame so young people will not follow in their footsteps. It will also serve to show other people in the public eye that they need to walk the straight and narrow path or the same will happen to them. "When there is no consequnce to fear, there is no incentive to change."

I have 3 daughters and all of them have graduated from college and I know that they were not angels all the time that I was not around to see what they were doing, but they never hurt anyone and I'm very proud of who they turned out to be. |
